Helmut Wurm started his career in 1982 at SI Spectroscopy Instruments GmbH as sales and application manager. Over 13 years he worked in the scientific market for spectroscopy solutions with the well-known company Princeton Instruments USA. In 1990 he started the company Visitron Systems GmbH together with Dr. Gunter Köhn for scientific microscopy application and system integration. Again, Princeton Instruments USA was a strong partner to establish the company and getting exclusive right of selling PI scientific grade cameras and MetaMorph Imaging Software. One of Helmut’s visions was to develop their own optical products and software as an independent manufacturer besides the big four microscope companies. Therefore, in 2001 Visitron started to develop Electronics, Laser Combiner, TIRF-Condenser, FRAP-Scanner, Homogenizer optics together with the VisiView Imaging Software for Life Science market. International networking was another vision of Helmut. He found strong worldwide partners to combine third party technology like Spinning Disk confocal in combination with Visitron`s own products and software. And today, he is proud to offer such application solutions like the VisiScope-4 Elements (TIRF-FRAP-WF-Confocal) for the worldwide market. With his experience and Visitron’s wide customer base of leading scientists, he is looking forward to being a further part of the cutting-edge technology in the microscopy and imaging market.
Marcel Dunkel –德国 Visitron Systems GmbH销售经理
Dr. Marcel Dunkel earned his diploma in Biology in 2004 from the Julius-Maximilians University of Würzburg (JMU Würzburg). He then completed his PhD in Plant Physiology and Biophysics in 2009 under the supervision of Prof. Dr. R. Hedrich, also at JMU Würzburg. Since 2008, Dr. Dunkel has been working at Visitron Systems GmbH, initially serving in Sales and Application Support. Marcel significantly contributed to the development of VisiView software through his scientific commitment and expertise in the field. His career is characterized by a solid academic background and significant professional experience, contributing to advancements in life sciences technologies.
Francesco Bacchi – 意大利–CrestOptics S.p.A EMEA业务拓展专员
Francesco Bacchi received his Master’s Degree in Industrial Biotechnology at the University of Turin in 2014. He dedicated himself for 5+ years to research activities on rare cell isolation and analysis in patient biopsies and on the biophysical characterization of 3D cell models like spheroids and organoids. In his role as EMEA Business Development Specialist for CrestOptics, Francesco brings his knowledge and previous experience in fluorescence confocal imaging, super-resolution microscopy, and 3D high-content analysis to expand CrestOptics technology applications in Life Sciences.
